There are 5 pieces as shown below.

The Trunk Floor, Left Well, and Right Well are cut to fit. The Trunk Floor piece may require slight trimming due to variations in seam sealer and trunk coatings. The pieces for the trunk wells are cut to exactly the stock size.
The Left and Right Board pieces must be attached to the trunk boards as described below.

1. Remove old vinyl pieces. Pull them up and scrape off the old adhesive.
2. Clean the trunk thoroughly. Vacuum out all loose dirt. Scrub the areas under for the vinyl with a mild detergent to remove any grease and dirt. Wirebrush any rust and paint with rustproofing such as POR. Allow to dry.
3. Use spray contact adhesive to affix the three pieces into position. Mask around the area to prevent overspray. Spray the adhesive over the area for all three pieces. Spray the adhesive on the back of the vinyl pieces. Wait about 10 minutes and then affix the vinyl starting with the Trunk Floor and then the Left and Right Well. The Right Well piece covers the fuel lines and will appear somewhat lumpy. You may need to notch it slightly where the tube comes out the bottom. This is the way that BMW did it.
4. Strip the stock boards and remove the staples.
5.
Lay
the vinyl face down on a flat surface. Lay the stock board face down on the
vinyl. One the right board mark the location of the five screw holes so you can
find them later. (Draw a line from the hole to the interior of the board)
6. Starting on a long side, spray adhesive along the edge of the board and the vinyl. Wait for adhesive to dry.
7. Stretch vinyl over the edge and staple.
8. Go to opposite edge and do the same.
9. Now do the other two sides to get a nice stretch across the entire board.
10. Now do around the irregular edges and corners. Take them one at a time; trim, trial fit, spray glue, stretch, and staple. Note how the original vinyls were done, using triangles to go around curves.
11.
If
you have gaps or puckers you haven’t stretched well enough or cut your
triangles right. Pull it up and try again.
12. Use and awl to find the holes in the right piece. Punch all the way through.
13. Screw down the right piece and snap in the left piece. You might want to consider new sheet metal screws.
